It's a rivalry that dates back to the 1970s.

One that, for those who can remember, saw names like Keith Stearns and Clar Anderson lead their respective teams to gut-wrenching battles.

Then, for a few years, as experience and interest waned, the rivalry faded into the shadows.

A year ago, however, it raged back in epic style.
