Amherst coach sees progress in loss

NEWS

Despite the Amherst wrestling team losing a home duel against Starpoint, 60-27, on Wednesday, Dec. 21, Tigers coach Dennis Bauer was pleased with the effort put forth by his squad.

Bauer said the highlight of the night for the team was Matt Mohan, who pinned William Adams at 145 pounds.

"The boy he beat handed him four losses last year," Bauer said. "Matt is the hardest worker on our team so it is nice to see hard work rewarded."
