SYRACUSE — After Falconer's wrestling team has jumped out of the gates this winter with an impressive record of 21-1, the Golden Falcons' work on the mat is being noticed on a state level.

In the latest rankings released by the New York State Sportswriters Association, Falconer is listed as the No. 3 Small School (Division II) team, behind Section XI's Mattituck at No. 1 and Section III's Central Valley Academy at No. 2.
