Tonawanda's wrestling team had a rebirth at last week's ECIC Tournament held Friday and Saturday at Starpoint High School.

Four wrestlers placed and the team finished eighth out of 26 schools with 105 points.

"We came to life," Tonawanda wrestling coach Dan Bishop said. "We wrestled extremely well as a team. We were the smallest school in the top ten. That is the best our team has wrestled in two years. I think we are peaking at the right time of the year."
