The Alfred State wrestling team will head to Lynchburg, VA this week to compete in the 2017 NCWA National Duals. The event will be held at the newly built LaHaye Ice Center on the campus of Liberty University.

The Pioneers (4-3 in dual matches this season) have been seeded #10 in the tournament and will be paired with #1 Emmanuel and the Apprentice B team in Pool A. Alfred State will battle Emmanuel at Noon on Friday and then Apprentice at 2 p.m. The top two teams in the pool move on to the championship bracket which begins at 6 p.m. on Friday.

The action continues on Saturday and the Pioneers are guaranteed to wrestle three more times as the brackets play out until a champion is crowned.
