BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Head Brockport wrestling coach Don Murray has been honored by the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) as Coach of the Year. This is the seventh time Coach Murray has been named either the SUNYAC of Empire Coach of the Year (1981, 1983, 1986, 1989, 1991, 2003, 2017).
2017 marked the 47th consecutive winning season for Brockport wrestling under Coach Murray's watch. The team went 6-1 in dual meets, with the only loss coming to No. 3 ranked Johnson and Wales University.
