Avon's Joye Levendusky signed her letter of intent yesterday to wrestle at McKendree University! She'll attend next year on a wrestling scholarship & academic scholarships. McKendree is a top 5 college program.
Joye began wrestling in 2013 at her father's Slingshot Wrestling Club in Avon. In 2014, she was on the first-ever all girls NYWAY team that competed at NUWAY Nationals. Since she began, she's won four state titles, two NUWAY national titles & has been a 7x USA Wrestling All-American, including a 6th place finish at World Team Trials & twice a Fargo All-American. She'll wrestle in the Avon varsity program this year.
