The St. Joe's wrestling team dropped its first league match of the season Friday, falling to St. Francis. 37-29.

Going into the match, St. Francis was ranked fourth in Western New York by WRWNY and second in the CHSAA. St. Joe's was ranked sixth by WRWNY and fourth in the CHSAA. The dual featured eight wrestlers who have appeared in the WRWNY rankings and 19 wrestlers listed in the most recent CHSAA individual rankings.
