The education of Depew/Cleveland Hill's younger wrestlers this season continued during recent outings that included a pair of league dual meets and an appearance at Lockport's annual tournament.

Carson Alberti, Michael Alberti and Jordan Alonso all won their matches by pinfall when Depew/Cleveland Hill took on Starpoint Jan. 17, but in the end that wasn't quite enough, as the Spartans managed to secure a 48-36 victory in the team's most recent outing. Despite the setback, coach Mike Lobuzzetta was pleased with the effort he saw from his squad in every match contested on the day.
