The 1000 Islands Summer Duals will be taking place Friday, August 3rd through Sunday, August 5th at the Clayton Arena in Clayton, NY.
The annually wrestled summer tournament began over a decade ago as an event attended primarily by local, central and northern New York clubs. However, it has become one of the deepest and toughest off season dual meet format events in this part of the country. Thirty-three clubs hailing from New York State are entered into next weekend's tournament. In addition, fourteen teams from Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont will be making their own trips to the village on the shores of the St. Lawrence River compete.
