Williamsville South's wrestling team finished 3-2 and took third place at the Starpoint Duals Saturday at Starpoint High School.

The Billies defeated Kenmore, 60-30, Maple Grove, 43-42, and Roy-Hart/Barker, 56-27, and lost to Niagara Falls, 71-9, and Starpoint, 49-34.

South opened the Kenmore match with nine pins and a forfeit win.

"I thought we matched up well with Ken-Ton as they are young, as well," South coach Chris Heximer said. "It was a great opening match."
