HOLLEY - The year was 1975. Microsoft was just being born, Disco was a popular music genre, and PEZ candy were beginning to be seen on shelves in candy shops all over the country. It was also the year in which legendary Holley/Kendall wrestling coach John Grillo began his storied career.
Over 750 wins later, Grillo is still at the helm of the H/K wrestling program, but is now looking forward to his final days as Hawks' head coach. Over 40 years of mentorship, with plenty of accolades to speak of, all coming to a close in the next weeks, and months.
