Johnny Putney went to this past weekend's Eastern States Championship Tournament looking to see where he stacks up against the cream of the crop, and he and East Aurora coach Jeff Michel came away from the tournament feeling confident about his postseason chances based off Putney's 2-2 performance in a tournament some observers call even tougher than the actual state championships.

In the process, Putney, who wrestled in the 145-pound bracket, recorded his 200th career win.
