N-W senior aiming for UB.

Niagara Wheatfield senior Warren McDougald was presented with the Destroyer Award on Monday at the annual Ilio DiPaolo Scholarship Award dinner at the restaurant in Blasdell.

The Destroyer Award is named in honor of the late professional wrestler Dick Beyer, a Buffalo native who passed away in March.

McDougald was the Section VI Division I champion and a finalist at the NYSPHSAA championships in Albany. He finished the season with a 40-4 record, improving his career mark to 217-53.
