Jeff Prescott acknowledges he wouldn't have achieved greatness in wrestling without the help of others. That is the reason why he has made a career of trying to help others find success on the mat.
Call it giving back.
Still, "great" might not be a strong enough adjective when discussing Prescott's career. He not only was one of the best wrestlers in the history of Western New York, but in the country and his accolades prove it. State championships. National championships. All-America honors.

His achievements happened decades ago, but they haven't been forgotten. That is why the former Olean High School and Penn State star is being inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 7.
