OSWEGO, N.Y. - The College at Brockport wrestling team continued their dominance on the mat this weekend at the Oswego Tri-Match where the Golden Eagles not only picked up a pair of wins over the Lakers and Castleton University but also clinched their 50th consecutive winning season as a program.

Matt Caccamise got the Golden Eagles started on the mat against the Spartans in the 125-pound weight class, dominating his opponent in an 18-6 major decision; the largest margin of the day. Eli Sims then followed with another standout performance in the 141-pound weight class, securing a 16-3 major decision against Castleton's Antonio Pallaria. The two combined for eight total points.
Austin Reed and Joe Yanis took home a pair of victories for the Green and Gold in the 157 pound and 184-pound weight classes. Reed grabbed a victory by fall at 5:38 over Castleton's Cooper Fleming for six points in the 157-class followed by Yanis with a three-point 8-4 decision victory in the 184-class.
Richard Knapp capped off a victory for the Golden Eagles against the Spartans in the 285-pound weight class where he shut out opponent Joseph Galusha in a 10-0 major decision.
Brockport v Oswego (W)
Caccamise continued his efforts against the Lakers, securing another commanding finish in the 125-pound weight class with a 13-3 major decision, his second of the day. Sims once again followed suit, forcing a fall by opponent William Hardin at 6:42 for a victory.
Junior Zack Brown found success in the 149-pound weight class against the Lakers, picking up a 5-0 decision, adding three points to the teams' total.
The Golden Eagles closed out the day with a statement, nailing back to back falls for 12 total points. The first came in the 184-pound weight class where Yanis forced a fall by Oswego's Colby Harblin at 2:13 and the second in the 285-pound weight class where Knapp topped opponent Toryan Jones in a fall at 6:05.
