Oslo Bound: FOUR New Yorkers Win Crowns At 2021 Senior World Team Trials

NEWS

ON ANNIVERSARY OF TRAGEDY, NEW YORK SHOWS STRENGTH!

On a weekend where many from the Empire State found themselves sitting in a state of solemn remembrance to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, it was a quartet of our native sons/daughter and/or brothers/sister rising to the occasion in Lincoln, Nebraska to provide a moment of joy (even if brief)!

Issuing a perfectly timed reminder that the phrase, "New York Strong" is as true today as it was during yesteryear, Jenna Burkert (Rocky Point-11), Yianni Diakomihalis (Hilton-5/Cornell), Jesse Porter (Shenendehowa-2), and Nick Gwiazdowski (Duanesburg-2) combined to post a 15-2 record in securing individuals berths to the upcoming (October) 2021 United World Wrestling Senior World Championship Tournament in Norway!
