The Canandaigua Academy wrestling team won three individual weight classes en route to the team title at the Huntington Holiday Tournament on Saturday night on Long Island.

The Braves, who had eight wrestlers in the finals, finished with 274.5 points. Huntington (Sec. XI) was second with 206 points while Massapequa (Sec. XI) took third with 181.5.

Tom Cuppernell (140), TR Chinn (145) and Clayton Mack (189) all captured title for CA.

Greg Gelinas (103), Trevor Chinn (125), Mike Cuppernell (119), Wade Clar (130) and Eric Mullen (152) all turned in second-place efforts.

Sam Hapstak (135), Derick Moore (171), Evan Junot (215) and Jerod Hapson (275) were all third.

Casey Perhamus (96) placed fourth.
