SANBORN - Continuing its hot start to the 2021-22 season, the Jamestown Community College wrestling team placed fifth Saturday at the Thunderwolves Open hosted by Niagara County CC.

The Jayhawks, who finished with 84 points, had 141-pounder Brandon Ramsey (Panama/Panama) and 174-pounder Ross Abram (Eden/Eden) claim first-place finishes. Joey Pillittieri (Falconer/Falconer) placed second in the 141-pound class with Andrew Bungar (Hermitage, Pennsylania/Hickory) also finishing second in the 165-pound class.
