New York State Girls Folkstyle Championships for high school girls set for March 5 in Troy, N.Y.

Wrestling leaders from New York State have come together to provide a state tournament for high school girls as the next step in the growth and development of the sport in New York and to provide opportunity for girls across the state to participate.
The New York State Girls Folkstyle Wrestling Championships will be held on Saturday, March 5 at Tamarac High School in Troy, N.Y.
Eligibility: Girls in grades 9-12 who attend school in New York are eligible to compete (Junior Varsity/Varsity). Girls in 7th and/or 8th grade are eligible if they completed the certification process during the 2021-22 school season sanctioned by New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).

Athlete Registration & Payment: PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY. All participants must be registered by Thursday, March 3rd at 10 pm ET. Cost per participant is $30, which must be paid at the time of online preregistration.
Schedule:
Weigh-ins - 7:30-8:30am only, no satellite weigh-ins.
Wrestling starts: 9:30am
