Matt Caccamise and Zach Levey both punched their tickets to the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships after excellent performances at the Mideast regionals hosted by Elizbethtown this past weekend. Caccamise placed first in the 125-pound weight class and Levey finished third at 133. As a team, the Golden Eagles placed eighth out of 20 with 60.5 points.
Caccamise and Levey will now travel to NCAA's on March 11-12 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Brockport's Chris Eames (184) placed fifth for the second straight year, while Marquis Larmond earned an eighth-place finish in his first regional appearance.
