Ithaca, ranked 17th nationally, finished second in the 35th Annual RIT Wrestling Tournament. The Bombers scored 132 points, trailing only 25-ranked John Carroll (139.5) in the seven-team field.

Senior Ryan Ciotoli (Union-Endicott/Endicott) won the 157 pound championship. He is ranked first in the nation in this weight class. Senior Dan Montana (Ilion/Ilion) won the 141 pound championship and sophomore Bill Parry (Hamilton/Hamilton) finished second in the 165 pound division.

Ithaca's other placewinners included senior heavyweight Jason DiCesare (McQuaid/Rochester), third; junior JP Bollette (Kittatinny/Newton, N.J.), third at 149 pounds; sophomore Andrew Locke (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge), third at 174 pounds; freshman Jason Bonderenko (Mamaroneck/Larchmont), fourth at 133 pounds; junior Toan Trang (Conard/W. Hartford, Conn.), fourth at 125 pounds; senior Tom Hungerford (Horseheads/Horseheads), fifth at 157 pounds; sophomore Shamir Rhodes (Rush-Henrietta/Henrietta), fifth at 149 pounds; freshman Jeff Edelstein (Montgomery /Silver Spring, Md.), sixth at 165 pounds; and junior Eric Parker (Ithaca/Ithaca), sixth at 157 pounds.
