Colin Lenhardt Most Outstanding Wrestler As Wrestling Takes 2nd At Ithaca Invitational

Senior All-American Colin Lenhardt (Hayes, Va.) was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler as the 29th ranked wrestling team notched a second place finish at the Ithaca Invitational held over the weekend. The Wildcats finished with 164.5 points while host Ithaca took home the team title with 177 points. JWU placed ahead of sixth ranked Springfield and 17th ranked NYU.

Lenhardt, currently ranked fourth nationally, took home first place at 184 pounds after a perfect 5-0 record over the two day tournament. Three of his wins came via pin fall. Sophomore Everet Disilets (Cranston, R.I.) also took home a first-place finish for the Wildcats with a 4-0 mark at 157 pounds. Three of his wins were also by fall. The Wildcats had three second-place finishers at the tournament with freshman Constanie Rissotis (South Brunswick, N.J.) posting a 3-1 record at 197 pounds while senior George Madosky (Cherry Hill, N.J.) was also in second place at heavyweight with a 3-1 mark. Junior Michael Ferinde (Nutley, N.J.) rounds out the second place finishers for the Wildcats with a 3-1 mark over the weekend.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, November 16th when they travel to the Roger Williams Invitational starting at 10:00 a.m.
