Dansville/Way-Co headed to Wayne for sectionals Saturday, Feb 4th. DWC would have 5 wrestlers place top 6 and head to the NYS Qualifier on Feb 11th in Brockport to battle for their spots on the state tournament. 7th Grader Wyatt Sartori would battle back, being down 1-0 late in the third to secure 2 points late in the match to win 3-1 and pick up his first Sectional patch. Elijah Bender would grab 3rd, Peter Thompson and Kaiden Ellis nabbed 4th, and Jackson Zangerle with 5th. The team battled hard all day, securing 5th place out of 15 teams.
