Griffin McKinsey placed at the state qualifiers for NYSPHSAA Division II wrestlers with a fifth-place finish at Lake Shore High School on Feb. 11.

The sophomore was one of two Springville wrestlers who qualified for the tournament after finishing in the top-five the previous weekend during the Class championships.
