Senior Jazz Spaulding from Honeoye Falls-Lima will continue his wrestling career at the next level as a Mercyhurst University Laker in PA this fall.
Jazz was a 2x NYSPHSAA state place finisher having finished 4th at 132 lbs. in the 2023 D2 Championships and 7th at 120 lbs. in the 2022 D2 Championships.
Jazz finished with an overall career record of 119-42 and was the 2023 Section 5 D2 Champion (2x finalist). He was also a 4x B1 Sectional Class Finalist and a 3x B1 Sectional Class Champion.
Jazz placed 6th at the 2023 Eastern States Classic and was the 2022 Monroe County Champion during his Junior campaign. He was also a 2x selection to the All-Greater Rochester Wrestling Team and received the Division 3 Sportsmanship Award for Honeoye Falls-Lima.
