VESTAL, N.Y. - In the first set of rankings for the 2023-24 season, three members of the Binghamton wrestling team were ranked in their weight class.
Junior Brevin Cassella and redshirt seniors Jacob Nolan and Cory Day each earned a ranking. Nolan is ranked No. 8 in the FloWrestling poll and No. 13 in the Intermat Wrestling poll for 184 lbs. Day was placed at No. 23 in FloWrestling and No. 25 in Intermat for 285 lbs. Cassella was put at No. 22 in Intermat for 165 lbs.
"It's always nice to see our guys represented in the national rankings," said Binghamton Wrestling Head Coach Kyle Borshoff. "I know the guys that aren't named are hungry and looking for their chance at national exposure. I'm looking forward to this season, and we believe we will have more guys making noise at the national level."
All three wrestlers qualified for the NCAA Championships the prior season. Nolan won his first two consolation matches at the event.
