No. 20 Brevin Cassella earned another ranked victory, defeating No. 27 Jake Logan
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Brevin Cassella picked up another ranked win, but the Binghamton wrestling team was ultimately defeated by No. 22 Lehigh 29-12 Friday at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall.
The dual was the first one for the Bearcats since they competed at Journeymen Wrestling's Armbar at the Armory on Nov. 17. Binghamton won four of the 10 matches against the Mountain Hawks, but was unable to secure any bonus points.
"We had some gritty efforts tonight in our wins, but we have to do a better job chain wrestling with the better guys," said Binghamton Head Coach Kyle Borshoff. "I'm proud of the guys that won, especially Caleb Sweet on getting his first win in the starting lineup. We have work to do to get where we need to be in March."
