NIAGARA FALLS, NY - Jamestown Community College will be represented at the national NJCAA wrestling championships, with Kyle Keefe earning his way to Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The sophomore captured that spot in nationals with an 8-6 win in the 174lb championships held at Niagara Country Community College on Saturday morning.
Keefe was joined in the event by teammates Gavin Warner, 133lb, Ryan Parton, 141lb, and Nicholas Ewan, 149lb, but that trio was unable to advance beyond districts.
Keefe and his Jayhawks coaching staff will be in Iowa for the championships on Friday and Saturday, March 1st and 2nd.
