The New York State Public High School Athletic Association's state boys wrestling individual championships begin Friday and conclude Saturday at MVP Arena in Albany, with multiple Western New York wrestlers competing for championships.
Williamsville North senior Cameron Catrabone will headline area wrestlers. He'll be looking to repeat as a state champion. Last year, he won the Division I 145-pound championship and moved up to 152 pounds this year. Catrabone is one of the best wrestlers to come out of Western New York, being the only six-time Section VI wrestling champion. He will continue his career at University of Michigan.
