MacDonell, Allen, Coleman & Leonard chasing NYS dreams

NEWS

The Bolivar-Richburg wrestling team believes it has unfinished business to attend to this weekend in Albany.

The Wolverines have two representatives in Friday and Saturday's NYSPHSAA Div. II wrestling championship at MVP Arena and both are looking to improve on their impressive state finish from a year ago. Tavyn MacDonell, a state runner-up a year ago, is seeded second at 170 pounds, while Caden Allen, who placed fifth last year, is the No. 7 seed at 215.

The two wrestlers got a warm send-off Thursday morning, leading coach Andrew Taylor to give thanks to the school and community.
