ALBANY - Western New York's state wrestling contingent had a solid showing at Saturday's state wrestling championships, coming away with championships at 152 pounds in Division I and at 215 pounds in Division II.

Top seed and defending champion Cameron Catrabone of Williamsville North/East faced third-seeded Griffin LaPlante of St. Francis in the 152 finals for Division I.

Maple Grove's Matt Trim, a senior, finished eighth in the tournament last winter. When he used a 3-1 overtime win against top seeded Sean Kelly of Lowville in the 215-pound semis, he earned the right to face Chautauqua Lake junior Mason Maring for the title.
