Justin Hoch will photograph wrestling at the Olympic Games in Paris

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton Wrestling will have a presence at the Olympics in Paris, as former wrestler Justin Hoch '04 will photograph the wrestling matches at the games.

After competing at Binghamton from 1999-2004, Hoch has found success as a freelance photographer. Among the events he has covered include eight NCAA wrestling championships, eight world championships, the 2020 Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix in Russia and the 2024 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships in Iowa. This will be the first time Hoch has covered the Olympic Games.

"I'm so thrilled," said Hoch. "It's something that I've wanted to do for a long time now, and to finally kind of break through and get the opportunity, it's incredible."

Hoch is photographing the Men's Greco-Roman, Men's Freestyle and Women's Freestyle competitions at the games. He will provide photos to multiple clients, such as USA Wrestling and WIN Magazine. Hoch will also upload several photos on his X account @justinhoch, his Instagram account @justhoch, his website jhoch.com and his Substack newsletter The JHoch Journal.

The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 - Aug. 11. The wrestling competitions will occur from Aug. 5 ? 11.
