Up next for Elmira will be the Electric City Duals hosted by the University of Scranton. During last season's tournament, EC matched up against five opponents, totaling 73 points. EC will be looking for more in its return this fall.
The Soaring Eagles will travel to their third consecutive NYS Collegiate Open, hosted by SUNY Oneonta on Saturday, November 23rd. The one-day meet last January saw EC place 10th among the 20 teams who competed.
To open up the December schedule, EC will travel to Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday, December 3rd for a dual with the Panthers. This dual will mark the first meeting between the Soaring Eagles and the Panthers in program history. To welcome in the new year, on Saturday, January 4th, the Soaring Eagles will head to Utica and compete in the Empire 8 Tri-Meet along with St. John Fisher, where the Soaring Eagles will look to win their first tri-meet in program history.
The traveling party will stay on course as EC will next travel to Misericordia for a dual with the Cougars on Thursday, January 9th. This marks the first time the programs will meet each other as 2024-25 will be Misericordia's first year with a men's wrestling program.
Next up for EC is the Will Abele Invitational. The trip to Ursinus College will be made on Saturday, January 18th. In last year's invitational, Darius Green '24 took third in the 285-pound weight class.
The Soaring Eagles will once again compete in the Jamestown CC Open on Sunday, January 26th, where Green received runner-up honors and Hollis Berry '25 finished third in the 157-pound class last season.
With the home crowd on its side, EC will host its annual Code Purple Night on Monday, February 3rd, against SUNY Brockport inside Speidel Gymnasium. The Soaring Eagles dropped their only meeting with the Golden Eagles last season.
Before closing out its regular season, EC will travel to Lackawanna College on Sunday, February 9th for a dual with the Falcons. This dual marks the first-ever Battle of the Birds.
