Buffalo State Women's Wrestling Fought Hard in Program's Home Debut

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's wrestling team made their program's home debut, in a hard-fought battle against the Alfred State College Pioneers. The final result from today's dual meet can be found here, with Alfred State scoring 20 points to the Bengals 19.

The Bengal Breakdown

Brooke Tarshis (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) and Diamond Martin (Buffalo, NY/WNY Maritime Charter) both picked up wins in their bouts, with Tarshis picking up a technical fall win and Martin with a fall win.

Renata Tumusabire (Buffalo, NY/Math, Science, Technology Preparatory Academy) and Rosaliz Aponte (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) each picked up forfeit wins in their weight-classes.

The Bengals return to action tomorrow morning, taking a trip down the I-90 towards Erie as they travel to John Carroll University and battle the Blue Streaks at 11:00 A.M.
