Buffalo State Women's Wrestling Earns Split At John Carroll Duals

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH – The Buffalo State women's wrestling team earned a split at the John Carroll Duals as they defeated Hiram College and Waynesburg and fell to Mount Union and Otterbein to a tiebreaker at the DiCarlo Varsity Center.

The Bengal Breakdown

Natalie Padilla (Bronx, NY/St. Catharine) and Mads Szymanowski (Ripley, NY/Chautauqua Lake) paced the Bengals with a pair of wins over Hiram.
Three other Bengals earned wins due to forfeits.

Brooke Tarshis (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) picked up a win against Otterbein with a fall, but the Cardinals would take the team win due to the fall tiebreaker.
The Bengals picked up their points against Mount Union with a pair of forfeits.

Rosaliz Aponte (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) and Diamond Martin (Buffalo, NY/WNY Maritime Charter) each picked up wins over Waynesburg with a pair of falls.

UP NEXT

The Bengals return to action on December 6 as they travel to compete against Gannon University.
