GOWANDA — Behind a pair of first-place finishes, Gowanda/Pine Valley captured its own round-robin wrestling tournament over the weekend.
Claiming the top spots for the Panthers were Nathan Warrior (138), who pinned teammate Jayden Fish in 2:39; and Jayden John (285), who pinned Kasen Hardy of Salamanca in 1:45. The Panthers finished with 271 points as a team to finish well ahead of second-place Portville/Cuba-Rushford (205.5).
