SARATOGA SPRINGS -- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Boys' and Girls' Wrestling Championships will go to Albany's MVP Arena after all.
The site was approved unanimously (22-0) for the tournaments from 2026-2028 at the NYSPHSAA Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday. It originally was to be approved at the committee's previous meeting in October, but the tournaments were put up for re-bids after MVP Arena was the only bidder, but the NYSPHSAA administrators were concerned with the site's cost increase.
