John “Jack” Yengo
Webster: Monday, May 26, 2025, age 84. Predeceased by his son-in-law, John VanApeldoorn; sister, Sally Gutowsky. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Maryjean; children, Kelly VanApeldoorn, Sean (Tracy), Christopher (Amy) and Patrick Yengo; grandchildren, Megan and William (Brianna) VanApeldoorn, Danielle (Andrew) Wischanck, Zachary, Sydnee, Christopher, Jack (Hannah) and Preston Yengo; great-granddaughter, Caroline Yengo; sister, Molly (Angelo) DiGiacomo; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Peggy (Ed Paradis) Cooney, Nancy (Bob) McCreary, Edith (Rick) Lamprecht, Lucy (Roy) Staley, Tom (Adriela) Hertel and Tim Hertel; nieces and nephews. Jack was a retired physical education teacher and beloved coach from Webster Central Schools.
Friends may call 4-7 PM Thurs., June 5 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Fri., June 6 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people who cared for Jack during his illness.
