WEST CHAZY, N.Y. —Beekmantown High School was not the regular season champs in Section VII wrestling, but that didn't stop the team from turning up their level of competition in the sectional tournament.

After rivals Peru High School took the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference (CVAC) regular season title on Wednesday, Feb. 12, Beekmantown beat Peru by over double digits to win their first sectional championship since 2009.
