Her effort helped set an early tone for the Saints to gain a point.

At 124 pounds, Brua delivered one of the strongest performance of the dual on behalf of the Saints. She set an aggressive tone early, pushing the pace with clean level changes and well-timed takedowns that consistently put her opponent on the defensive. The win provided an early spark for D'Youville and highlighted Brua's potential in the Saints lineup.

The Saints closed the dual with another strong performance at 207 pounds, where Stricklin stepped onto the mat and seized control. She scored quickly off an early takedown and maintained her advantage by working directly into a offensive position. Stricklin stayed patient as she tightened her hold, eventually turning her opponent and earning the fall at 1:59. The victory capped the day on a high note for D'Youville and added five more points to the team score.

Despite the overall team result, the performances from Brua and Stricklin stood out as major positives for the Saints. Both wrestlers showcased technical discipline, pace, and finishing ability that the coaching staff will look to build on as the team moves deeper into its competitive schedule. Their efforts served as important momentum builders in a dual where bright moments were limited but meaningful.
