ELMRIA, N.Y. – Elmira College women's wrestler Zoey Lints has been named the AMCC Women's Wrestler of the Week, announced by the office on Monday.
This past week, the Soaring Eagles competed at the Ithaca College Invitational where No. 3 ranked Lints collected a first-place finish in the 145-weight class with a 4-0 record. In her first match of the day, she marked a fall in 0:44 against Alexis Knickerbocker from Alfred State. Lints advanced forward to face Emily Brown from Alfred State where she recorded her second fall in 1:10.
Lints received a bye in the third round before moving forward to compete against Hannah Kusmierczak from Utica, notching a 10-0 tech fall. She closed the day with her third pin of the day at 0:14 against Brooke Walsh from Alfred State to garner a first-place finish.
