St. John Fisher Takes 8th In John Summa Invite

BEREA, OH – The St. John Fisher wrestling team amassed 93.5 points for an eighth-place finish in the John Summa Invite on Saturday at Baldwin Wallace University. Six of the Cardinals' 16 wrestlers who competed in the tournament placed.

Freshman Daniel Visha (125lbs) and sophomore Justin Coiteux (149lbs) led the Cardinals with fifth-place finishes in their respective weight classes. Senior Torin Bishop placed sixth at 149 pounds, freshman Ayden Estep placed seventh at 157 pounds, freshman Cameron Guffey placed eighth at 125 pounds and sophomore Shay Sinitiere placed eighth at 141 pounds.

Case Western Reserve took first place in the team race with 276 points. Host Baldwin Wallace claimed second with 251.5 points, while Alfred State (174), Eastern (172.5) and Ohio Northern (126) rounded out the top five.
