Boasting a roster without a single senior in the lineup, Cheektowaga's wrestling team saw eight of its 11 grapplers place in the top six en route to claiming the team title at this past weekend's Maple Grove Kickoff Wrestling Classic.

Junior Kiar Parker (285 pounds), sophomore Austin Sliwinski (138) and Tyler Le (113) all claimed individual titles at their respective weight classes, while junior Huy Dang placed second in his to guide the Warriors' efforts. Taivaughn Roach, Austin Domanowski and Caleb Graves each placed third in their weight classes, while Logan Wagner finished fourth. Roach returns to the squad this season after taking a year off, while Parker, Dang and Domanowski are among the Warriors' reliable veterans looking to turn in solid efforts this winter.
