Canandaigua's Jesse Hibbard has a long history of wrestling success in his family. His dad, Butch Hibbard, was a four time winner in the Bradshaw Tournament.
Now, on Saturday, Jesse was able to repeat the success of his father, winning the Bradshaw Tournament at 126 pounds on Saturday over Andrew Konopa of Webster Thomas by a 10-5 decision.
Other local winners included Ethan Ferro of Pal-Mac, an eighth-grader, who won at 106 pounds over Jacob Welch of Tioga by a 7-1 decision.
