Joye Levendusky of Avon-Geneseo won two awards at the LCAA Championships last weekend. She was awarded the Senior Scholarship, $750 college scholarship given to one senior wrestler a year at the LCAA Championships. She also won the Trevor Regan Memorial Award, a character award given to a senior wrestler that "has overcome adversity while continuing to participate in the sport of wrestling." Another presentation was done in front of a home crowd last night against Perry.
Levendusky placed 5th at 145 in the LCAA Championships.
