"Going into ECICs, I thought we had good chance to win it after the seeds came out and I saw where they had our guys," coach Jason Chase said. "Our guys have been wrestling well and seem to be getting better every time they step on the mat. I really thought that all 15 guys had a legit chance to place, and if you go into a tournament like that, you always have a chance to win. Even our five wrestlers who didn't place all won matches to score points for us. It's hard to win a tournament when you only have two guys in the finals, but if all 15 are scoring points for you it gives you a good chance to win."
