Olean will send four wrestlers to the New York state championships Feb. 22-23 in Albany — the program's most state representatives in 41 years.

The Huskies already knew Tanner Hulse was advancing as the Section 6 Division 1 285-pound champion. On Wednesday, Olean learned the careers of seniors Icar Simon (160 pounds, 30-6 record), Devan Moore (170, 30-5) and Patrick Walsh (182, 34-6) would continue as at-large state qualifiers. Each was a sectional runner-up last weekend.

Olean last sent four wrestlers to states in 1978, when Eric Simpson, Kirk Stephan, Clar Anderson and Bill Thomas qualified.
