Jacks' wrestlers seek to continue winning culture

NEWS

North Tonawanda's wrestling program is on the rise.

After not winning a dual meet two years ago, the Lumberjacks posted 10 wins last year. Second-year coach Wally Maziarz is hoping the team continues to grow, and that has already been shown this season by the Lumberjacks finishing 5-0 at the St. Mary's Lancer Duals Nov. 30, including a 42-41 win over East Aurora/Holland, ranked 10th in small schools. NT also beat St. Mary's, 57-27; Maryvale, 54-32; Albion, 51-34; and Akron, 66-24.
