It was a good weekend for Amherst wrestler Ryan Bitka.

The senior heavyweight was named most outstanding wrestler at the inaugural Linda C. Knuutila Memorial Wrestling Tournament Friday and Saturday at Niagara County Community College.

"Ryan Bitka had a great weekend," Amherst coach Dennis Bauer said. "His wrestling ranged from patient to ferocious as the match required."
